  2. The Purple Crayon. Maintained by Harold Underdown, this is a very good site for writing articles and basic info on writing for children. http://www.underdown.org
  3. Verla Kay's Website. This site is hosted by Verla Kay, a children's author. The forum on this site is especially helpful, as you can glean info from other writers—struggling and published alike. http://www.verlakay.com
  4. The Predators and Editors Website. This is a very, very good site to use to check out the legitimacy of publishing houses and agents. They not only list those people who are out to take advantage of uninformed writers, but they also have some excellent information topics of interest for writers. http://www.anotherealm.com/prededitors/
